About The Bay Institute's Campaign to Acquire the San Francisco Aquarium of the Bay at Pier 39
The Bay Institute, a San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit dedicated to Bay and Delta health, has initiated a campaign to purchase San Francisco's "Aquarium of the Bay" at Pier 39.
With your help, we seek to create the first-ever interpretive center for learning and action for the Bay, on the Bay.
The Bay Institute must exercise its option to purchase the aquarium by March 2009. To do this we must raise $12 million for the purchase and to develop new exhibits and programs.
